I cried this morning

Dawson had his 6 month review meeting with out early on teacher today. And short of walking, standing independently and eating table food he has met all of his goals for the last year!! In the last 6 months our boy has;
-Started eating baby food (goal was 1/2 jar at each meal, he now eats 2 jars+ cereal or grains)
-Will pick up finger foods and put to mouth (and chews them, but no swallowing)
-Learned to army crawl and then even on to hands/knees crawling
-Crusing the furniture
-Pushing to sit from belly
-Pulling to stand
-Started babbling, and is now "talking". No "real" worlds yet, but lots of naa nah, lalas etc etc. I even got a La-ma this morning, while looking at me. We are so close to mama I can feel it!!
-Blows raspberries, plays with tongue and goes "num num" while moving mouth like chewing.

So this is all great news right?! So why did I cry?! Because his PT had a few recommendations for Dawson as far as purging his baby toys and getting big boy toys. WAHHH! Including trucks or big cars he can push while moving.


An Art easel, because they will work on coloring in the next "school" year.

and KIDS TABLE AND CHAIRS. Oh.Mah.Gah. that was when the tears started, and she hugged me. I think I took her by surprise, but I couldn't help it!

And now these!!

I think Santa will be getting this set for Dawson this Christmas from Ikea. Didn't you know Santa shops Ikea?!

Dawson did already get one present this year, one like this from Grandma. Its not as bright and doesnt have the basketball part, just the stairs slide and tunnel. Either way he loves it and is starting to get the hang of the climbing, but watch out because he flies down that slide! No fear in that boy!


One more. This is my big boys "ham face". It seems that he now knows then he is the center of attention, (and when he isn't which is rare...)and he has taken to throwing his head back and cheesing it up!!


We have an eye check on Wednesday. Prayers for a good exam, with full pictures of whats going on in there. And as always, Prayers for healing!
